About the Author
Scott Payne, PMP, LSSBB, CSM, MBA, BS Systems Engineering
Scott Payne is co-founder and Managing Partner of PM Master Prep. He is the author of our training manual PMP Exam Master Prep as well as the, soon to be released book, Path to PMP. Scott is a practicing PMP and project deployment expert, he has nearly 15 years of experience designing and deploying lean six sigma project programs within multiple Fortune 500 companies, generating $20+ million in annual savings. During this time, Scott has had oversight of project portfolios as large as 30 concurrent projects and facilitated 50+ value stream mapping and kaizen events.
Complementing his status as a Project Management Professional (PMP), Scott maintains certifications as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), and a Theory of Constraints Project Management Technical Expert from the AGI-Goldratt institute. Scott started on his life’s path of process and project transformation with a degree in systems engineering from the United States Merchant Marine Academy and an MBA from the College of William and Mary.
